Happy 6th Birthday Myriam

Filed under: every day life, my family, our girls, personal — steph @ 12:01 am

Today marks the 6th birthday of our oldest daughter, Myriam Lucrettia Whiting. It’s hard to believe that 6 years have gone by so fast, since she was born. I miss her each and every single day. But, what I want to say most to her right now is.

more, and more, and more….

Well…life has been good :) A few days ago we had Cyclone Alia come through. The cyclone didn’t come close to where I am, but all day the weather was horrible. It was dark and stormy, and *very very* windy, thank goodness Indra didn’t go to work that day. Johnny (our friend from Cassini’s Division and neighbor) had called me up asking me where he was, and was making sure that he was aware of the cyclone and safe. Thanks for good friends and neighbors here!! :) The next day we went out and it was amazing. All the billboards were blown down and there were trees that had been blown over. I mean, it was devastating because some people lost their homes, and there was a *lot* of flooding in certain places, but it was also beautiful. I know…it makes absolutely no sense…but it was!!

I went to WBUT with Indra and Subhodip this past week. It was interesting to say the least. There I met a friend I had been talking to for a long time online, who is also a friend of Indra’s, Najmun Nessa. It was fun to meet her and watch her work and interact with Indra and Subhodip. Najmun brought her son to the college, and he was very cute. It was nice to meet him, although he wouldn’t talk to me at all. Seeing him made me miss Myriam and Jovie. Oh well…such is life and we can not change it, even when I am being thwarted by their father…*sigh*

Its time to get ready to eat dinner, perhaps watch a movie with Indra, and go to bed…later :)

*sigh* one tough day

Today was the last day I will see my daughters for god knows how long. The last 2 hours went by so fast. I was fighting back the tears the last 15 minutes with Jovie, and when cuddling with Myriam, I started to cry, and she told me ’stop crying, its okay.’ This has got to be the hardest thing I *have* ever done. It was even harder than walking away from Jeremy and the girls the first time.

So…good news is I have my girls from 8am to 7pm tomorrow, the bad news is…it’s 2am, and I’m still awake!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well…thats what caffeine is for, and perhaps we’ll hit the pool and the hot tub, if not the water park and the regular park. Tomorrow, erm…I mean later today will be fun! Look for photos on facebook, orkut, and flickr!! :)

mind boggling

Filed under: crazy crap, every day life, funny stuff, our girls — steph @ 3:25 pm

so..can anyone tell me *exactly* how someone at the door, would see a gothic *guy* when there were 3 girls (one of them wearing a black shirt) sitting on the couches?¬† now if someone can answer me that question you’re the smartest person on the planet. Apparently when Jeremy’s mom dropped off the girls to me yesterday thats what she saw, a goth guy sitting on my couch, when there were none…she must be smoking something and hallucinating becase there were no guys at my place last night, except for Jeremy when he picked them up…and *then* he had the audacity to bring the lady who called me a dead beat mother to *MY* house…i was furious to say the least…yesterday was eventful! waiting for the answer to that question!

Tomorrow should be an excellent day. Not to mention I work 730am to 11am to help out a friend to go see the doctor…then I will *finally* put in my application fee and transcripts to SUU (Southern Utah University ) which is the school where I will be getting my bachelors from. =] So progression to finish¬† my bachelors degree by December of next year is on the way. But the best part of my day tomorrow will be 6pm to 8pm, when I will be able to spend time with my adorable girls!!! yeaaaaahhhhh….good thing Jeremy is starting to be a bit nicer, perhaps we can now work out a more promising visitation agreement without me having to take him back to court…*sigh* we’ll see naah? yeaaahhh i can’t wait. =] yeah for me!!
